SACRAMENTO, Calif., Sept. 29, 2009—In 2004, the California State Assembly passed AB 1825 mandating that starting in 2005, companies with 50 or more employees must provide two hours of interactive sexual harassment prevention training to supervisors within six months of hire or promotion, and every two years thereafter, known as a training year. For most California businesses, 2009 is considered a training year.
